Degree Overview
This degree will prepare you to pursue further training for careers in Psychology, and help you attain skills that prospective employers in a range of careers find attractive. Modules reflect the breadth of the discipline, from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to developmental psychology and social psychology. In this accredited by the British Psychological Society degree, you will study modules that includes a project. If you pass this and graduate with at least second-class honours, you will be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the BPS. This is a necessary first step for people hoping to undergo further training to become a Chartered Psychologist. The university of Greenwich offers optional pathways in Forensic Psychology, Child Psychology and Sports Psychology, which lead to the awards of BSc Hons Psychology (Forensic Psychology), BSc Hons Psychology (Child Psychology), and BSc Hons Psychology (Sports Psychology) respectively.
