Undergraduate diploma
In order to be admitted to the second degree studies in Architecture, you must have completed the first degree studies in Architecture or Architecture and Urban Planning.
In case if the original language in the documents is English or Polish, no translation needed. In case of all other languages, please, prepare sworn translation.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
You need to submit sworn translations into Polish of all required documents. If you do not have a possibility to make Polish translations, we will accept the documents translated into English and you will have to submit Polish translations after arrival.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

UTA accepts the following English language certificate (B1 level equivalent) such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, FCE, ESOL, IESOL, SET, EBC, EOS, LCCI, CAE, CPE, BEC, CEIBT, CELS.

Aim of studies
Master’s diploma in Architecture at UTA will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills in architectural design including:
- contemporary technical requirements,
- functional and health needs of users,
- environmental sustainability.
At the same time, the second degree studies in Architecture will allow you to shape your design skills taking into account artistic, cultural, intellectual, historical, social, economic, and environmental conditions.

Master’s diploma in Architecture at UTA is the basis for automatic recognition of professional qualifications. It opens the way for you to pursue the profession of an architect in the member states of the European Union. You can read more in the European Union’s database of legal acts.
During your studies you will use modern studios, among others: Architectural Design, Virtual Building Design and Landscape Design equipped with computers, graphic tablets, 3D manipulators. Moreover, as an UEM Student you will benefit from many professional programmes for free.
