Additional information
Overview
You love watching films and discussing them. You want to write, direct, produce, and edit for television yourself. In the B.A. Film and Television program, you will learn how to bring your ideas to life on screen.
The B.A. Film and Television covers all areas of TV and film production – from theoretical foundations to post-production. In practical foundation courses, you will first discover where your strengths lie. Under the guidance of instructors, you will begin writing, shooting, filming, editing, and producing your first short films, documentaries, music videos, and similar TV and film content early on. You will then choose your individual specialization within the focus areas of directing, cinematography, audio, production, and post-production.
In the 5th semester, you will complete either an internship or a semester abroad.
Career Opportunities
Depending on your chosen specialization, a wide range of career paths will be open to you after graduation—whether in the film industry, the games and VR sector, as a camera operator, film producer, motion graphics designer, film/TV editor, or sound designer.
