REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  A passport-style photo (3.5 x 4.5) uploaded into your personal account.

   Application Form - printed out from candidate’s personal account in color and signed with your full name and surname.

* Passport scan – to confirm and verify your personal data.

   Original Bachelor’s Diploma with at least 55% of GPA and transcript of grades, both legalized in Polish Embassy or apostilled.

 • Sworn translation of Bachelor’s Diploma and transcript (if needed).

  Language certificate proving the level of language of your instruction is at least B2 (or positive result of Skype interview with our lecturer).

  Signed commitment to purchase National Health Fund (NFZ) insurance upon arrival.

* Payment confirmation of application fee and first semester/year tuition fee*.

 • Signed electronic agreement on the conditions of studies.

Programme description

In the face of global climate challenges and growing environmental awareness, the transformation of the economy toward sustainability is becoming inevitable. Suffice it to say that about 4 million green jobs have been created in Europe in the last decade.

The main goal of the specialisation "Economics of Sustainable Development" is to introduce students to the world's ongoing green economic transformation based on innovation, the European Green Deal Strategy, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and non-financial reporting (ESG) requirements.

We will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to actively participate in this process. You will learn how to implement sustainable business models, design and implement environmentally friendly investments and assess their impact on society.

  • Skills for creating responsible business models: you will learn how to design and implement sustainable development strategies for companies and institutions, taking into account environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) aspects.

  • Know how to finance a green transformation: you will learn about available financial instruments and support programs to facilitate the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in business.
  • Ability to influence climate policy: you will learn how climate decisions are shaped at the national and international levels and how you can use this knowledge to promote sustainable practices in business.
  • The ability to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the European Green Deal into your company's strategy: you will learn how to integrate global sustainability goals into your company's strategy, contributing to positive change in the world.

Applied tools and certificates

  • Preparing for the ISO 140001 exam -this is a course designed to prepare students to pass ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. A weekend course culminating in an exam, it will be taught by professional trainers from leading intuition BSI Group Poland
  • CSR/ESG in business practice -a course designed to provide an overview of business practices in terms of concern for social and environmental issues.
  • Preparing for the Prince 2 exam -one of the most recognized project management standards, the student will take a 3-day course culminating in an exam.
