Requirements

  • Students with a Statement of Medium of Instruction (MOI) in English for a previous qualification will be invited for an interview and, upon success, will not need to submit an English proficiency test. 
  • École de Management Appliqué demands all the applicants to take a recognised English language test and pass at the required level for the course to which they apply. Tests should be verified using online verification tools, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo.
  • For admission into our Bachelor en Management Appliqué  programmes, we require certificates and transcripts for achieved qualifications. For this programme, students are required to produce a Baccalaureate (BAC +0) / Equivalent.
  • All the certificates can be provisional for up to 2 years.
  • Note: there is a requirement for final award certificate if teaching ended May 2020 for Feb/Apr 2024 entry.

Course Overview

The École de Management Appliqué (EMA), is located in the heart of Paris, a city known for its innovation and leadership. The Bachelor en Management Appliqué (Option Droit des Affaires) at École de Management Appliqué is a programme that combines management principles with in-depth legal studies. The course provides an in-depth knowledge of business management and strategy, and an opportunity to develop a specialist knowledge of business law. Major modules will cover the themes of business finance, business organisation, as well as human resources and marketing issues. Through specialist units, students will be introduced to business law, contract work, fiscality, aspects of history and international law. The programme also includes modules in Business English.

The curriculum includes theory and practice-based learning to prepare students for the modern business world, with placement options.

The programme offers a pathway to build a successful career in distinct business sectors, with opportunities, both in private and public institutions.

Our courses and training programs allow students to apply their knowledge to professional fields that are of particular interest to them. This program covers aspects of knowledge and skills related to careers in legal management, in the private and public sectors. It includes six semesters of study and features core curriculum units covering the following areas: business organization, business finance and accounting, human resource management, marketing, project management, business strategy, and business English. Specialized curriculum units include introduction to business law, banking law, contract law, fiscal law, distribution law, intellectual property, corporate law. 
In the final year, you will also have the opportunity to undertake internships or conduct research on a topic of your choice. 
The assessments consist of 50% continuous assessment and 50% end-of-semester exams (written exams, open-book exams, or in-class assignments). The teaching methods are participatory and interactive, and include numerous references to the real-world workplace, with participation in real case studies and analyses. This prepares you realistically for contemporary legal business practices
