Course Details
This course will give an overview of the key principles and issues within the field of corporate governance today. It will cover three main areas: corporate governance in its narrow sense; company compliance with a focus on regulatory requirements for companies; and risk management with a focus on risk frameworks. Topics covered will include: the board of directors and leadership; disclosure; risk management and internal control; corporate governance systems, controls and issues; regulatory requirements for companies; and managing risk and compliance. Taking a practical look at how to identify, set and uphold a corporate governance means that you will be able to enrich your understanding and skillset in this area, with the support of experienced practitioners who can demonstrate real-life examples to contextualise what you learn.
