We are Lazarski University (UŁa), one of the highest ranked private universities in Poland. Established by Ryszard Łazarski, from the very beginning we are considered at the top of the economy, management, law studies and administration.

We are Lazarski, so we are:

experienced – established over 30 years ago, with a rich history dating back to the 1950s,
trustworthy – we have educated over 43,000 of students (still counting),
international – we educate students from all over the world, at least 50 different countries so far,
recognised – numerous prestigious awards for the quality of education such as: U-Multirank, CEEMAN International Accreditation, Perspektywy magazine or Rzeczpospolita (press title) university rankings,
business-oriented – we think about our students’ future by offering adventurous jobs, internships opportunities and also initiatives in which they can participate.

Explore our educational offer with many programmes conducted in English (including two faculties: Economics and Managements as well as Law and Administration). Some of them are prepared in cooperation with a British University, enabling students to get double degrees.

Selected academic units

Foreign Language Centre (SJO) – a teaching unit for language education. It conducts classes and courses in 13 languages and serves as an examination centre for international TOEIC, TOLES, LCCI examinations. The unit organises courses for foreigners beginning their studies in Poland or wishing to improve their language skills, as well as classes for non-native speakers. Since 2016, SJO has been authorised to conduct state examinations in Polish as a foreign language.
Student Legal Clinic – a unit whose members are students and their tutors - lecturers and practitioners. The team provides free legal advice to people in difficult financial situations, draws up legal opinions, pleadings, etc. Lazarski University's Student Legal Clinic was ranked first among legal clinics of public and non-public universities in the 2018 ranking of "Rzeczpospolita" (leading Polish press title).
Internships and Career Office – a unit dedicated to supporting and shaping professional development, determining the personal and professional predispositions of students and graduates of Lazarski University. It conducts consulting and advisory activities, as well as organises annual Employers' Exchanges.

Why Lazarski? - We are winners of many awards

Lazarski University has been ranked at the top of the prestigious Perspektywy ranking for years. In 2023, it ranked 4th among non-public universities in Poland. Here are other recent recognitions of our academic activities:

in 2024, the Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked 1st among non-public law faculties for the 16th time in the ranking of law faculties of the "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna" daily,
in 2024, the Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked 1st among non-public universities in the ranking of law faculties of the "Rzeczpospolita" daily,
in 2023, the jury of "BLUESKY AWARDS" - one of the most prestigious and exciting events in the aviation world - has announced the winners of this year's edition of the contest - Lazarski University with its Aviation Faculty (source),
in 2023, as part of the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity, we received the highest possible category A+ and the current status of leading scientific centre in the discipline of legal sciences (Faculty of Law and Administration),
in 2021 the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) has awarded our Faculty of Economics and Management with the International Quality Accreditation, an accreditation assessing the professionalism of education institutions, the main objective of which is to improve the quality of education in the scope of management in Central and Eastern Europe
