: Undergraduate : BA : Full time : 36 MonthRequirements
143 – 136 UCAS tariff points, ABB – AAB at A levels, DDM – DDD at BTEC, or a Merit in your T-Level. English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required.
Speciality
This course is designed to help you fully realise your potential as a choreographer, performer, community dance teacher, or practitioner. It goes beyond simply developing your dance skills and serves as a springboard for a wide range of professional paths, including postgraduate studies in specialised fields such as Dance, Health and Wellbeing, Dance Science, and Teaching.
Our students participate in regular workshops and masterclasses led by professional dancers, choreographers, and companies. These include 2Faced Dance Company, Motionhouse, Shobana Jeyasingh, Alleyne Dance, Layton Williams and many others. We have an established network of industry connections across the UK and partnerships with organisations like Strike a Light, and locally The Roses Theatre and The Everyman Theatre.
In 2022, we introduced our undergraduate dance company, which will provide our dancers with additional performance training, as well as the opportunity to audition for various works led by our Artistic Director.
