Requirements

The English level for an English-language course of study at CBS should be at level C1. You can submit proof of your English skills to us before you start your studies and you do not need it when you apply. We accept the following certificates: TOEFL certificate (at least 83 points internet-based), IELTS (at least band 6.5), Cambridge English First (FCE), BEC Vantage and other comparable language certificates. These must not be older than two years. Your proof of English is also considered to have been provided if you can prove that you have spent at least 6 months in an English-speaking country (internship, work) or that you have completed parts of your school career in English (individual case test). Alternatively, you can take our free online English test.
To be admitted to the Finance & Management course, you need the full technical college entrance qualification or the general university entrance qualification. You do not have to have a degree when you start applying - you are welcome to apply with your interim certificate.

In order to be accepted into an English-language course of study, we also require proof of English language skills. You can submit proof of your English skills to us at any time up to the start of your studies. Alternatively, you can take our free online English test.

Additional information

The economy is global - almost every company works internationally, be it due to multicultural employees, expansion abroad or projects worldwide. This means that in many large corporations and medium-sized companies the corporate language is English or at least a high level of the foreign language is required. Studying international business at CBS International Business School also means that the lectures are held in English. In addition to language skills, an international career requires certain business knowledge and soft skills. The course is therefore strongly focused on topics that you need to be successful in international business .
