About the Major

Do you have a passion for supporting children and adolescents? Are you interested in a career focused on improving the well-being and mental health of children and adolescents, particularly for youth that have been historically underserved? Would you like to begin building the skills you need to deliver evidence-based interventions for youth as part of your college degree? With a degree in child behavioral health, you will be a part of the next generation of mental health professionals ready to meet the challenges that youth face today.

Our child behavioral health major provides students with applied training in the delivery of evidence-based interventions to promote well-being and prevent mental health problems from developing and worsening in children and adolescents.
