Roehampton English Language Test
- Undergraduate degrees - mapped to IELTs scores
TOEFL IBT
- Undergraduate degrees - 80 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening and writing, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking

Cambridge Advanced Certificate

All applicants that require a Tier 4 visa must also meet the minimum English Language requirements before we can issue a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS) that is needed to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

Degree Overview
Economics can be applied to every aspect of our lives. On this programme you will gain the practical and transferable skills needed to solve real-world problems, addressing important social issues and policy questions. Through testing your understanding of theory with real-world examples, you will gain invaluable experience for your future career. You will be taught about the different methods of reasoning and tools used by economists to tackle issues and problems of economic policy, and develop the skills needed for interpreting real world economic events. You will learn to source information and perform portfolio analysis. With access to a dedicated Bloomberg trading room and the Reuters Market Data System, you will be using the same tools as industry professionals, ensuring that when you graduate you have the key skills required for a job in industry. In Years 2 and 3, you will be able to choose from a range of optional modules to tailor your degree to your own interests. Year One In your first year you will gain a strong grounding in the principles of economics and their application to real-world problems. Year Two In your second year, you will study economic theory and applications, and apply economic reasoning to specialist topics. You will develop a strong understanding of microeconomics, the study of individuals and business decisions, and macroeconomics, which looks at the decisions of countries and governments. You will also learn to use quantitative skills in the identification and analysis of economic problems. Year Three In your third year, you will learn to apply economic reasoning to applied topics in economics, tailoring your expertise to your personal interests and career aspirations. You will discuss, analyse, and evaluate policy to assess the performance of national economies and of the global economy.
