English language requirements

·         IELTS: 6.0 overall (min. 5.5 in each component)

·         Cambridge First /Advanced/ Proficiency: 169 overall (min. 162 in all skills)

·         TOEFL iBT (not ‘MyBest Scores’): 60 (min. 11 in L, 12 in R, 20 in W, 17 in S)

If you don’t have any of the Alternative English Language Qualifications listed above, University of Law offers English Test (ULET) to meet your English Language condition.

·         The University of Law English Test (ULET): 6.0 overall (min. 5.5 in all skills)

The Certificate of Complete Secondary General Education is not acceptable for entry to this degree.

Students who have completed ACCA or CIMA to a specified level can gain access to Years 2 or 3;

  • ACCA F1-F4 – Direct entry to Year 2
  • CIMA BA1-BA4 – Direct entry to Year 2
  • ACCA F1-F9 – Direct entry to Year 3

Course Details

This degree is designed for those with an interest in accounting and finance.
During the first year, you’ll develop a solid understanding of the fundamentals of accounting and finance. Years two and three will explore how organisations use accounting and finance practices to make sensible predictions and sound business decisions in an ever-changing business landscape.

As part of the curriculum, in addition to your accounting and finance knowledge, you’ll also develop the skills demanded by today’s business employer including critical analysis, leadership, team working, communication and presentation skills.

Recognised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), successful completion of this undergraduate degree will exempt you from 9 of the 13 ACCA exams, accelerating your career ambitions of becoming a chartered accountant.
