This degree will provide a modern perspective on these interrelated issues.
On our BA Politics, International Relations, and History degree, our priority is to ensure that you graduate with a professional skillset. This incorporates:

Analysing the interplay of global affairs in the past, present, and future.
Gaining a comprehensive understanding of political systems, international relations, and their place in history.
Understanding how politics and international relations have unfolded throughout history is crucial for making an impact.

Acquiring digital literacy to uncover past and current affairs.

Working in both small groups and individually, you'll enjoy a mix of lectures and seminars as you progress through modules, including:

American History from Columbus to the Cold War
Cities and Empires
An Introduction to Political Studies and Skills
Comparative Government and Politics
In year 2, you will study the Applied Humanities: Professional Practice and Placement module, allowing you to apply your skills in hands-on experiences. In Year 3, you will engage in the new Humanities Project module, which supports projects across humanities disciplines.
