Roehampton English Language Test
- Postgraduate degrees - mapped to IELTs scores
TOEFL IBT
- Postgraduate degrees - 89 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening and writing, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking

Cambridge Advanced Certificate
- Postgraduate degrees - 176 overall with a minimum 162 in each component (some schools require a minimum of 169 in each)

All applicants that require a Tier 4 visa must also meet the minimum English Language requirements before we can issue a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS) that is needed to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

With the demand for highly skilled cyber professionals growing across the UK and internationally, our MSc Cyber Security is a strategic way to define yourself as a problem solver ready for the industry. Cyber security is a global concern which impacts every society that relies on being digitally connected. The ever-growing concern of cyber-crime spans across the globe and requires enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who can rise to the complex challenges of cyber security. On this course, created in line with national standards, you will learn the anatomy of computing devices and networks, while working with cutting-edge technologies including AI, machine learning and data analytics. Modules on this course are delivered in an applied and practical way mirroring real-world contexts where you will learn by producing artefacts of increasing significance and complexity. The focus of this course is to ensure you are ready to enter the tech industry on graduation with a clear focus around developing a practical portfolio through collaborative teaching, teamwork, and a final project that you can show to potential employers. The University of Roehampton London is a member of several industry academic programmes including AWS Academy, Cisco Academy, Microsoft Azure and the Splunk Academic Programme, through which students may work towards completing industry recognised certifications alongside their degree. You will also have opportunities to network with industry professionals through student employability events, guest speakers on campus and technical meetups across London (e.g. the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP)).
