Studying law in the notary's office

Our Bachelor's degree program in Notarial Law is tailored to the diverse demands of daily work in a notary's office and can be completed alongside employment at a notary's office. The program focuses on issues particularly relevant to working as a professionally qualified employee at a notary's office in the areas of debt and property law, family and inheritance law, and commercial and corporate law. It also covers specific notarial topics, such as professional and notarization law, money laundering law, and cost law.

We ensure that our courses are as practice-oriented as possible by employing notaries as well as experienced university lecturers. Soft skills training sessions are offered throughout all semesters, providing you with important practical skills for your everyday work in a notary office. This includes mastery of common notary-specific IT applications as well as client interaction.

Become an all-rounder!

With your academic training tailored to the needs of the notary profession and the practical experience you have gained from your professional activities, you will be well equipped to handle even complex technical tasks independently and assume responsibility.

Do you have a (technical) high school diploma, are interested in studying after graduation, and are interested in the varied, challenging, and independent work of a notary? Then you can acquire the necessary skills in our bachelor's program.

The Law in Notary Practice program is aimed at both career starters and experienced notary employees. If you have already completed training as a notary assistant or as a paralegal and notary assistant, the program offers you an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge and specialize. You may also be able to have some modules credited toward your degree—please contact your program director for more information!
