Requirements

Entry Qualification

  • High school / secondary education diploma (e.g., Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or an equivalent international qualification)

  • If you haven't graduated yet, your most recent school report is acceptable

  • A vocational qualification may also be sufficient

Document Language

  • Documents are accepted in English or German

  • Upload electronic copies during the application process

German Language Requirements
You must provide proof of German language proficiency. Accepted certificates include:

  • DSH Level 2

  • TestDaF with TDN 4 in all sections (or one section with 3, if balanced by a 5 elsewhere and a minimum total of 20 points)

  • Goethe-Zertifikat C1 or C2 (minimum grade 2)

  • telc C1 or C2 (minimum grade 2), including telc C1 Hochschule

  • DSD II (Sprachdiplom Stufe II) from the KMK

  • Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) from a Studienkolleg (exam section: German)

  • At the beginning of the program: training contract (Ausbildungsvertrag) with a partner company (the university can assist in finding one)

During the dual B.A. program “International Hotel Management” in Heidelberg, you’ll be trained for leadership roles in the hospitality sector.
