Learn about entrepreneurship in a global context and how you can start or develop your own business. We will introduce you to some of the key components of business start-up, including effective pitching, finances, marketing, and we will introduce you to further support mechanisms available.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of contemporary business and management issues and be encouraged to critique the theories and concepts of the business and management environment.

You will develop effective team working skills in preparing and making presentations in key areas of management. You’ll also improve your critical awareness and synthesis skills and apply these to problem solving. These skills will benefit you throughout your career, but particularly useful in management/leadership roles.
