Conditional admission
ASU may offer conditional undergraduate admission to international applicants to an on-campus program who meet the academic (aptitude) requirements but who are not proficient in English. Your conditional admission offer is good for up to three semesters, during which time you must meet one of these requirements to begin your ASU experience.

International students who completed high school outside the U.S. are required to meet the following competency requirements:
- Math: four years (algebra I, geometry, algebra II and one course requiring algebra II as a prerequisite).
- Laboratory science: three years total (one year each from any of the following areas are accepted: biology, chemistry, earth science, integrated sciences and physics).
Provide evidence of English language proficiency (TOEFL 61)
Speciality
Transfer admission requirements:

- Explain how theatre shapes the cultural and political landscapes of societies.
- Develop a comprehensive toolkit for self-promotion and to showcase their production experiences.
Global opportunities
Global experience
Study abroad can prepare a future professional in the arts not only with cultural experiences but also with professional skills such as collaboration and problem-solving. With over 300 options available, Global Education programs give students a breadth of knowledge in arts and culture uniquely different from their own. Whether in a foreign country, in the U.S. or online, students learn to adapt and persevere through a program that provides them with a chance to look inside themselves in a way they haven't done before, growing their self-confidence along the way.
Career opportunities
The bachelor's degree program in theatre with a concentration in design and production provides an excellent foundation and specialized training for those who want to work as designers or technicians in the performing arts and entertainment industries. Additionally, the program's liberal arts emphasis prepares graduates for further training in graduate schools.
